Deep in the highlands of northern Veracruz, Mexico, an indigenous farming community is working to create a better future and cleaner planet. Speaking Nahuatl as their first language (an ancient Aztec dialect) these small-producers were taught by their ancestors how to farm in harmony with the Earth. In collaboration with Organic Alliance, these farmers are organizing, certifying their new farmer organization as Organic and Fair Trade and implementing best production practices for top-quality and food-safety.
